Sir,
With reference to your letters No. 1041 of 30th
November and 1st December, 1926, I am directed to forward,
for the consideration of His Excellency the Naval Commander-
in-Chief, two copies of the memorandum on the patrol of the
West River by armed launches, amended as suggested in the
above mentioned letters. Should His Excellency the Commander-
in-Chief concur in the amended form I am to request that he should initial and return them, after which it is proposed that both should be initialled by His Excellency the Governor, and one copy returned for your records.
The Government is advised that the Insurance
Company's quotation includes typhoon risks.
